YARDSALE + THE ART
The big YARD is back!
On September 5 and 6, we’re meeting again at Moldova-Film to turn the space into a big urban playground for two days, where art, design, music, good food, laid-back conversations and old friends come together.
Once again, YARDSALE THE ART will bring together dozens of artists from different generations, backgrounds and creative fields. The work of established artists will be presented alongside that of those just starting their creative journey. We don’t divide artists into “known” and “unknown” — what matters to us is giving every artist the chance to show their work, while visitors can discover new names and find something that truly resonates with them.
But you already know that THE ART is much more than that!
It’s a big design market featuring local brands, handmade, vintage, books, records, treasures from personal wardrobes, interior objects, independent jewellery and ceramics. Plus a food area with specialty coffee, craft beer and wine, workshops and activities for kids. And most importantly — lounging on beanbags in the shade!
It’s a place to meet friends, raise a glass together, find a special artwork, wander through the stalls and discover “that one thing”. Or simply spend the weekend in one of Chișinău’s beautiful creative spaces.
Music
There’s everything here, from jazz to house and from hybrid sets to live bands. AUDITORIA 23 is in charge of the music.

Plus, a choir will perform global hits in contemporary arrangements. Because apparently, two days of music didn’t seem like enough to us.
Foodcourt
This is serious business. Quiches, Indian food, Cuban sandwiches the size of Telecentru, smoked meat, ice cream in unusual flavours, coconut water, specialty coffee, wine, cocktails and beer.
On the festival menu:

There will also be grilled mackerel, potatoes with cabbage salad, corn straight from the field, shashlik and mititei cooked over an open fire, and homemade sweets.
